In the Old Testament, it is recorded that Abraham gave gifts unto the sons of the concubines which he had, but gave all that he had to Isaac. In John’s gospel, Jesus says that God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him for the Father loveth the Son and hath given all things into his hand.
In the seventeenth chapter, He prayed that we might be one with the Father even as He is one with the Father. And Paul preached that the Father will give us all things through Jesus Christ. Thus a son is he whom God has given power and dominion over all creation.
Those who are following Jesus in the regeneration will in the fullness of time attain that stature. This is what the priests and pastors today have failed miserably to explain to Christians, but Christian Science has come to reveal the true status of man. Our Lord says, come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (matt 25:3;Heb.2:6-9)
